Vacation Bible School Adult Volunteers

Thank you for volunteering! VBS needs you!

All Volunteers must be approved to work with children through the VIRTUS safe environment procedures.

 

  • Fill out Volunteer Application and turn in to Benny Strozier, Business Manager, at the Parish Office,

  • Attend a VIRTUS training session. Sign up for a Virtus Class by clicking here. 

 

Details on Volunteer Responsibilities
Please read this prior to marking your interests below.
 
Set-up will be Friday, July 5 from noon - 4 and Saturday, July 6 from 9-1.
 
Clean-up will be Friday, July 12 from noon - 2
 
Daycare Volunteers will be July 8-12 from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
 
Bible Story, Games, and Craft Station Leads will be part of the VBS Committee and would need to attend monthly meetings starting in April. Leads are expected to work the whole week of VBS from 8:30-12:30.
 
Group Leaders and Snack Station Volunteers must attend a short orientation the week before camp. These volunteers work either the whole week  OR Mon/Wed/Fri, OR Tues/Thurs.

Volunteering starts at 8:30am and ends at 12:30pm (or when the last child leaves).

(NOTE: Daycare will be available ONLY ON THE DAYS YOU VOLUNTEER to children under 4 whose parents/caregivers are volunteering.)

Volunteer Registration Rebate

Week of VBS Volunteers - Those who volunteer 2, 3, or 5 days receive a rebate. This will be in the form of a rebate after the completion of the VBS and your volunteer duties.
