Families Forming Disciples: K – 5th Grade
Families Forming Disciples is a program designed for families. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that parents are the primary educators of their child’s faith. (Catechism of the Catholic Church; 2221-2229) The church is here to support you in this role. OLA is offering flexibility within this offering of formation this year. You have the option to participate as a family in an in-person group on campus along with small groups off campus. This program prepares your child to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. One year of formation is required prior to the year receiving the Sacraments.
Below you will be given the opportunity to select the option that works best for you and your family. We will do everything possible to honor your requested choice, but cannot guarantee it at this time.

Choice 1: Meets Sunday from 10 to 11:30 am once a month, at home mission week and once monthly in small group.
​
Choice 2: Meets Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 pm once a month, at home mission week, and once in small group each month.
A virtual option can be offered on case by case basis. Please email epiper@olachurch.org if you think this is a need for your family.

Edge with Purpose: Middle School Grade 6-8
In addition to being our middle school youth group, Edge with Purpose serves as faith formation and confirmation foundation. The blocks of 4-week sessions will alternate between the Edge program, which is the Life Teen middle school program, and Purpose which is the Life Teen confirmation program. The middle school youth are required to attend these sessions so that they meet the foundational requirement for confirmation preparation.
Edge with Purpose meets on Sunday from 6:30 to 8:00pm. (Dinner will be provided after the 5:30 mass.)

Life Teen: High School Grade 9-12
Life Teen is our high school youth group! After our 5:30pm Sunday Mass, teens gather in the Youth Room for dinner, time with friends, and a session usually centered around some faith-based topic. We also do a couple of service projects during the year and some purely social events. The goal of Life Teen is that teens will grow closer to God and each other!
Life Teen meets on Sundays from 6:30 - 8:30pm ; dinner is served after the 5:30 Mass.
